I love this movie! I liked everything about it: the characters, the music, the setting, the quality of the animation. It's really a joy to watch, being so entertaining, funny and also touching. The kind of journey she goes through is very relatable. Great. 10/10.

The Walking Dead
This game does a really great job in introducing you to the world and the characters. I ended up hooked for the first episode right away and completed the game in a few days. It's definitely good. The gameplay could be better, of course, but it is a point and click game so gameplay shouldn't be the focus and it isn't. The story is good, but not great, even though there are touching moments and the narrative made me care about the characters. [Minor SPOILERS] Having agency over the story is good, but you soon realize that no matter what you decide the fate of the characters and the ending is going to be the same. The characters that died would die anyway, and you're going to the places the story set you up to no matter what you want. You soon realize how the story gently pushes you in a singular path and that takes away a bit of the enjoyment. It certainly takes away replayability. On the story side, I mourned a bit when Carley died. Clementine was my priority, but Carley was the second most important character to me and the one I trusted the most. It was just sad that she had to go. If you want to be really hard on it, you can say it's a game with mediocre story and bad gameplay, but it made me think about my choices, my values and made me care about the mission of the main character and the fate of Clementine. A game that does that already acomplished something very special. [End of SPOILERS] I enjoyed my time with this game. I don't know if I'll ever come back to it but it was a great experience. Finished on February, 26. Took me around 11 hours to complete. Personal Rating: 4/5. Good experience.

GRID Autosport
GRID is a game I like a lot, but the graphics are a bit outdated right now so I bought this one, the third installment in the series. Aside from the graphical improvement, the overall feeling of the menu and presentation is a bit better. I still need to dive into this game and see how it really feels, but I think diving into this one isn't going to be hard. My initial reaction to it is very positive. I'll wait a bit to give a Personal Rating. I haven't seen enough yet. UPDATE As of today I played a little bit more of it and I undoubtly like it. I guess I'll play this one from now on whenever I feel the need to play a racing game. It has a carreer mode that is interesting and fun to play through. Reminds me a bit of Top Gear 2, one of my favourites racing games. The music has the same vibe. Good.

DMC: Devil May Cry
This game is REALLY GOOD! The graphics are great, the combat is really fun, the story is interesting to follow, not intrusive at all! You have your cutscenes but then it goes back to fun. Fun, fun, fun. It's so refreshing to see a game that feels that good. I'm so glad I picked this up! It's a gem. I won't give it a Personal Rating right now because I haven't finished it. I'm kind of saving it and going through my games to see if I find another great ones. But this one is definitely on the list for playing next. After a short session with this game I started thinking about my relationship with Capcom games. It turns out Capcom might be one of my favourite gaming companies for games. I mean, Mega Man, Devil May Cry, Marvel vs Capcom, Okami... Those are all all-time favourites. I got to pay more attention to the games they develop and publish. I haven't done that.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt
I'm around 4 hours into this game and I don't like it very much. It's very narrative driven, the gameplay is not enticing and I don't really buy into the character. The controls are a bit stiff and constantly fight me because of all the realism put in the game and there's a lot of talking for little action. Go here, talk to this guy at the table, go there, talk to that guy on the other table, then go to the barracks talk to the other guy, then go to the house in the road, talk to the girl, then go back, talk to Vasemir, and THEN kill the monster. Now, go back and talk to the guy at the barracks again, and then the girl shows up. Talk to her. And then the guy in the castle, and then the emperor, and then the girl again. Why all that? Why not give me a cutscene if all I'l doing to walking and talking to people to get to the action? Things like this really bother me because they gave me control when it wasn't necessary or fun. It fells like a waste of time. And the gameplay or the combat isn't even that fun to begin with. But this is a very well made game. The production value is very high and the optimazation is great. CD Project really outdone themselves. And because of that, I'll not rate it today. I think I'll give it another try in a later day, maybe on a lower difficult setting just to enjoy the story, as the gameplay doesn't feel fun to me.

Democracy 3
This is an awful game, as boring as it can get. Most problems come from the interface, that is really bad and unattractive, bu the system behind it are also way too unrealistic. It's a good idea. Too bad it's so poorly executed. I'd play to cater to my managing cravings, but the mechanics just are not there for it to be a fun experience. Personal Rating: 1/5. Really, REALLY bad.

Doctor Strange
Boy, oh boy! Another great movie from Marvel. One of my favourites so far. Marvel really excels at introducing new characters in a sensible and paced manner. Benedict Cumberbatch is one of my favourites actors because of Sherlock and Rachel McAdams is as pretty and talented as the canadian lands she came from. Also, no romantic bullshit, which is always a plus. I'm looking at you, Thor... Anyway, very enjoyable.

Fallout: New Vegas
This was also my first time playing this game, or any game in the Fallout series, and I got to say I like it a great deal better. No wonder I heard a lot of people praising this game as the best in the series and I'm glad I'm giving this one a try before the other ones. Differently from Skyrim, I felt this game had better story or at least the story was better presented. It made me care about the characters right away in a way Skyrim could not. The "combat" is also better. It's a shooter after all. The dialogue is engaging, got me interested in the story, and there are a lot of courses of action you can take, each one of them having different and meaningful consequences. It's well structered in that way for you to feel immersed. [A bit of SPOILERS ahead, but nothing major] In the second half things went south, though. I was eager to finish the game and sided with Mr. House, as for some reason I was a bit ahead in his line of quests. From there on I made all decisions to end the game as soon as possible. Right before I got bored I was thinking about siding with the NCR, or at least have a better relationship with them, but I gave up on that. They seemed alright, but I knew I would side with Mr. House for the ending so there was no reason to waste time building trust with them. I decided to kill the Boomers and the Omertas, with no regrets. The Boomers at first appear to be harmless, but I didn't like the way they treated outsiders and got suspicious over why they decided out of the blue to give me a free pass after trying to kill me. Also, if they wanted me on their side they should've at least offered me something instead of giving me chores, especially after what they've done. As for the Omertas, they were awful and I couldn't bother. The saddest thing I did, I think, was to use Veronica to get to the Brothehood Of Steel bunker and explode it, killing almost everyone inside it. She seemed very nice, funny and useful, so I felt pretty bad about using her to make my life easier murdering her friends. And I let her live to forever think that she was the sole reason her dear friends are dead. I can't really blame her for asking me to "leave her alone". Oh, well... [End of spoilers] I ended the game on Level 14, pretty low I think, and it took me 32 hours first try. I lost a lot of time in the first half of the game while I figured out what the game was about and learned what mattered and what didn't. As for Personal Rating, I don't know. I guess the game is good, even though I was really bored in the second part. I like the degree of freedom this game gives to the player. I've never seen such a thing so well implemented before. My boredom may exist only because I wanted to finish the game and because I don't like exploration very much. I like a sense of progress that exploration hinders. I feel like I'm wasting my time walking around. It's better for me when I know exactly what to do and the challenge is in the gameplay, or when the only thing in the way of me finishing the game is my hability to play it. I feel bad about giving it 3 out of 5, but it feels fitting. It's a great game and it acomplishes a lot, but it's not made for me so my experience couldn't be better than that even if it was perfect. If I was to rate the game on it's own merits it would have a way better score, but that's not what I'm doing here. I only rate a game in relation to my personal experience and tastes. Finished on February, 18. Read some guides to speed the gameplay. Personal Rating: 3/5. I got bored.

Dark Souls - Prepare to Die Edition
I played it for a little bit, about an hour or so, just to feel the gameplay and know what it is about and now I have a better understanding of it. I guess I'm trying to find a game to cater to my crave for NiOh and Bloodborne, and this one is definitely fitting. It reminds me of Onimusha too, in a sense. I heard people say they love it and heard people say its gameplay is slow, especially when compared to Bloodborne or NiOh, but I don't think it's too bad. Actually, from the games I tried recently, I guess this one is the best.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I just played this game for the first time after hearing about it a lot and having it on my Steam Library for ages. I played about 8 hours of it and I can finally understand better what it is about. As I played I felt something was off and I couldn't put my finger on it. The combat is not very good to my taste, but it wasn't only that. Then I started thinking about the games I like. I'm a big fan of Okami and that's why I thought I would like this one. I came into it thinking it was an Action RPG, but it turns out that it is a lot more of a Sandbox game. Or at least that's how I feel while playing it. Skyrim has story, but is not a interesting one, or at least it's not presented well enough. The quest system, used in other games, is very shallow to me in this one. The world is beautiful but empty. And the combat is awful. But it made me realise a few things. First, I like tight controls and engaging combat. It should be fun to battle and defeat enemies. It's not the case in Skyrim. The combat is superficial. Second, the story, even though not the main part of a game to me, should be a bit interesting and the final objective should be clear. It's not that case in Skyrim, where you can be whatever you want and don't have a clear objetive from the start. After a quick research I notice people talking a lot about MODs. I heard about them before but now I think I understand them better and their relation to the game is clearer. Skyrim is a Sanbox game with RPG elements set in a medieval time. You can be wander around and be whatever you want. Its empty structure is perfect for you to create your own story, be it using MODs or just your imagination. I won't say I don't like Sandbox games. I have fun with them, for a while. Then I get bored. If the story is not engaging and the combat is not fun I just can't make myself play it for long. That's why I don't like Skyrim that much. I may get back to it in the future, but with a different mindset. I'll treat it as it is: a sandbox game. I cannot expect good combat and/or good story from it. Personal Rating: 2/5. Not my cup of tea.
